Florida Georgia Line Bringing the Party to the ACMs Stage

The Florida Georgia Line boys have had a busy year since winning New Artist of the Year and New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year at last year’s ACMs. But for Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, that just means the party continues.

“Between working with [the band] Alabama, working with Nelly, and going on tour with Luke [Bryan], what we’ve gotten to do this year has been a dream come true for us,” Tyler says.

“Obviously all the awards have been unreal,” Brian adds. “The whole year has been crazy, and to think what has changed from last January to now. It’s real cool.”

Affectionately known to fans as FlaGaLine, Tyler and Brian are two college buddies living the dream. They have gained a fast reputation for knowing how to have a good time, an attitude that stars in their first full-length album “Here’s to the Good Times” featuring hit singles and country party anthems “Cruise,” “Get Your Shine On” and “Round Here.”

“For us it’s a celebration of life, and it’s a good time, and everybody in the room has a smile from ear to ear and is having a blast. That’s what [the party] is all about to us, which makes our job amazing and super fun,” Tyler says.

Tyler and Brian met while attending Belmont University in Nashville.

In just a few weeks, Tyler and Brian will bring the party to the ACMs stage, where Florida Georgia Line will perform live during this year’s awards. The duo has also taken the party to the top of the country charts: Florida Georgia Line’s latest single, “This Is How We Roll,” recently became the third No. 1 hit from their debut album, making them the first group to do so since Brooks & Dunn more than 20 years ago.

Florida Georgia Line debuted the video for “This Is How We Roll” two weeks ago, featuring collaborator and ACMs co-host Luke Bryan. Tyler and Brian keep FlaGaLine fans up to date with their highly active Twitter, Facebook and Instagram profiles, and they shared the experience of making their latest video in a series of behind-the-scenes posts and videos.
